Did you get the news? EA officially announced at Nintendo Direct that they both EA Sports FC and Madden are making their way to the Nintendo upcoming console the Switch 2 this year. This is great news particularly for us here in the UK who love football and EA Sports FC — And because we are in the UK, we are going to focus on EA Sports FC.
Going with gut I think it is safe to say that we are not getting EA Sports FC 25 on the Switch 2 with EA Sports FC 26 releasing, three months after the Switch 2 release. However, you can still play the Switch 1 versions of this game on the Switch 2 which from my point of view it was really great as it felt more like EA FC Mobile rather than a proper console game. Not to worry because with the added specs on the Switch 2, we are getting a proper console version of this game for Nintendo’s next-gen console.
I can’t say how it will look but I think we are getting a game that is somewhere between the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions and, the PS4 and Xbox One versions — Rather yet, EA can just play it safe and port the PS4 and Xbox One versions on the Nintendo Switch 2.
